Toshiba has decided to discontinue this app on January 20, 2016.
You are free to keep using the apps, which you download to your device. However if you uninstall them, please be aware you will not be able to download them again following this date.
Due to the discontinuation of this apps, please note that any future updates to iOS/ Android may limit functionality

When installing for the first time, please use The Toshiba Cloud Portal App.

The Toshiba Cloud TV Companion App enables you to display the Cloud TV Menu service on an iPhone and conveniently access the Calendar Service or the Message Service. With this app, you can easily stay current with your events on the Calendar Service.
The A/V Remote Control App feature allows you to operate a Toshiba TV or Blu-ray Disc™ player, connected to your home Wi-Fi® network, by remote control from an iPhone. Additional audio video devices can also be operated from this application via the IR-Blaster and HDMI-CEC connections with the Toshiba TV once the settings have been enabled.

Functions
- Cloud TV Menu Service: Check todays events, messages, etc. from your Cloud TV and also launch a variety of services whether you’re at home or on the go.
- Message Service: You can exchange messages with friends who have a Toshiba Cloud TV Services account, just as you would with an e-mail function on a computer network.
- Calendar Service: The calendar displays your schedule, such as social events, appointments, and other events. You can see not only the upcoming dates, but also a history of your schedule as well.
- A/V Remote Control feature: The remote control function makes it easier to operate Toshiba compatible devices, such as TV, Blu-ray Disc™ Players, etc., on the same home network. By registering multiple audio video devices, you can easily switch to the one you want to control.
